This is for someone who wants to invest money so Beyond-Basements can finally do the $30 million a year I know it can do. This is for someone who wants to possibly become a partner and get really wealthy. 

This is for someone who just wants to buy me out.

 

At the very least, please contact me and tell me you are a great salesperson who wants to earn some really serious money in a field where there is absolutely no competition. And I literally mean NO COMPETITION.

I live on the south side of Naperville. My shop is by 248th Street and the RR tracks, between 95th Street and Montgomery Road. There is a small industrial park there.

The Middlebrook site is very plain. While I believe I am in the fraction of 1% of contractors in this country, I still have to deal with a plethora of cheap contractors and budget minded homeowners. I am more of a high end remodeler. Moreover—unless I am doing something very special—a plain, simple kitchen makeover isn’t going to excite me. I’m trying to phase this business out.

Another business I have is this consulting business (RCCS). I’ve only had a couple people hire me for these services as I have not pushed it, but I think this could take off with the right capital behind it or some effort in marketing it. This is not watching a video on the web. This is talking to a real person in real time.

But that was just informative. What has the potential to be a game changer is my other company: Beyond-Basements. This is a basement  finishing company but without the use of drywall. This is what I want an investor, buyer, partner, or a salesperson for.

I have four different options for finishing off a basement. My website is very comprehensive and explains everything, but let me give you the short version here with some key points.

1.  Drywall Basements  (BBDBS)

    - standard drywall
    - but also green board (moisture resistant)
    - purple board (mold and mildew resistant)

Anyone can offer these but not too many companies have the knowledge to state these different options to the homeowner; and further many won’t offer (either out of ignorance or habit) the use of steel studs which are so much better—especially in that basement environment...accordingly one is not just getting a unique basement system with my company, but they are also getting a very knowledgeable contractor and owner.

2.  Beyond-Basements Acoustical Soft Wall Finishing System  (BBSWS) 
   
       - I invented this system; it has proprietary tracks, molding clips, and a proprietary picture hanging device (I have sold thousands of these picture clips to other fabric companies throughout the country and also to customers of some of my competitors who have fabric systems)
     - I am the only one in Illinois offering this fabric system to my knowledge; there are about 10 to 15 other companies I know throughout the country who put fabric on walls (as the textile industry has fabrics for vertical wall surfaces) but no one offers what I have
     - I have the best system like this in the country (this is not hyperbole; there is not one company in the country who has the look, adaptability, and uniqueness of my system). I had a YouTube video stating a basement challenge which I posted 10 years ago. I took it down a year or two ago and replaced it with the written version on my website. That is how confident I am about my system. No one is picking another company over mine. But this also shows just how ignorant and brainwashed so much of the public is. They believe the ridiculous claims of getting 50% off but don’t take the time to examine how I can make this claim and make it legitimate. It is legitimate because it is absolutely not free in the general sense but certainly free to the homeowner. Either my company or the competitor is paying for it. In 10 years I have only had one customer and one competitor inquiry about it. The competitor backed down. The homeowner couldn’t find another company to accept the challenge. But that was the point: to show that no competitor would ever agree to the challenge because they know they would lose.
    - mold, mildew resistant
    - a much faster install than drywall
    - no drywall mess
    - removable
    - acoustical
    - can change colors/styles at any time very easily
    - in fact I made three commercials which are posted on YouTube. Just search Beyond-Basements. They were uploaded 10 plus years ago so the quality isn’t that great.

3.  Beyond-Basements Structural Insulated Panel System (BBSIPS)

    - water/fire resistant
    - mold, mildew resistant
    - special alterations as typical SIPs have plywood on the outside
    - this is skinned with MgO board (magnesium oxide)
    - perfect for basements
    - faster install
    - very hard to damage
    - very little drywall work
    - prevalent in the construction industry but not so much when skinned with the MgO board which is what I do
      - unlike the above (BBSWS) this could be bought and installed by any contractor; however, there still is no competition around here

because the vast majority of contractors do not know about these especially when the SIPs are altered to an Mgo SIPs.

4.  Beyond-Basements Hybrid Finishing System (BBHFS)

     - I put wainscot of MgOSIPs on lower wall and my soft wall up top
    - best of both worlds
    - as far as I know I am the only one who has done this in the country…I did two basements
    - it is the future of basement finishing
       - I could have sold this multiple times but the two basements I did were complicated because I had to build two separate walls on top of each other; I did them as an experiment; I have since used a 3D printer to come up with another extrusion which takes the places of three separate pieces into one; this would make the system very profitable now.

Previously, I needed to have a top plate for the bottom wall. I then needed a bottom plate for the top wall. I then needed my Universal Retaining Track (URT) for the middle. This is not only time consuming but poses some engineering challenges. As I’ve stated I did two of them as an experiment. And they turned out great. However, to continue to do these basements like this would be too inefficient. I need this new extrusion I developed . However, to get it made and run a length of profitable footage would completely eat into my entire profit of any new basement remodel.

So....I am looking for investors to expand this business. 

Or if you prefer, you could become a partner. 

Or, if you really wanted you could buy me out.

FOR SALES PEOPLE

If you are a really good salesperson and can work on commission only I can give you plenty of leads. I don’t mean leads for customers but you certainly could have them. I am really talking about leads in getting franchises, leads for getting me investors, etc.

I have lots of ways to either get money or get customers for the business but I just don’t have time or the sales experience.

ONE OTHER THING.  I also came up with a shower system where I basically take composite wood and install it in a shower.  I’ve installed in in three bathrooms including my own. I have a proprietary ship lap locking system and already did the legal work on it.  Again, like the Hybrid System above, it is time consuming to alter the wood for my design. I need to either develope my own manufacturing system on a large scale or  find someone with clout to go to deck manufacturers or other companies with capital (Kohler for instance) and partner with them.
